Married couples frequently enough say they are too busy. They feel they don’t have time for each ‌other. Does ‍this sound like your⁤ marriage? I want to show you some easy ways to spend time with ⁢your partner.

It’s funny, as these ‌are⁤ things you do by yourself. it might be your own daily plan. But you can make it a “couples morning⁣ plan” ‍when your partner joins in.

What do couples ⁢usually‌ do? Let’s look at some ‍ideas. We’ll explore ways to reconnect with your partner. We’ll also see romantic, intimate, and fun things you can do ⁢together at home.

8 Things to Do With ‍Your Spouse Before 8AM

1. Connect ‌With Each Other

I do this⁤ first thing‍ every morning when I wake up. when I’m really ‍tired, my alarm ⁣goes off at 5 am. As soon as I hear it, I roll over and reach for my husband.

He does this when ‍we wake up together.‍ We try‍ to⁤ talk before we start our day.

Do we enjoy feeling close by ⁣cuddling? Do we give each other soft, swift kisses? Do we ask the same question every morning: “How was your night?” Once we start the day ⁣this way, we move on to what’s next.

Couples can do this every day when they wake up. ‍ Touching your partner first thing in the morning tells them something critically ‍important.⁣ It can make their day better. ‍It shows⁤ them⁤ they are⁣ loved, not lonely, and very important to you.

waking up next ⁤to someone you ⁢love is‌ a great⁢ way to start the day. Seeing them alive ‍and⁣ well, ready ‍to make you happy, is special. Couples⁤ who talk in the morning often feel⁣ closer all ‍day long.

Think back to when it was just the two of you.‌ This is a sweet thing ⁤couples can do before they even get up.

2. We Reach For The Scriptures

During the week, ⁣we do our devotional in just 30 minutes. This lets us have time for other things. This is one of⁣ my favorite⁣ times with my husband.

Sometimes we hold hands.Other times, we sit up in bed with pillows behind us. We read a daily prayer⁢ book.⁣ This ⁤helps us⁢ feel close to God each morning.

My husband starts our day by reading the devotional. I read the ‍Bible verse. Then, he explains what it ‍all means in a simple, but thoughtful⁤ way.‌ This gives us our inspiration for the day.

We connect Bible stories to what happens in our lives. This helps us fix problems, especially if we were too tired to talk about ⁤them the night before.

When we read together, we each see things differently. We share our views and find a ⁣simple lesson or something to inspire us ⁢for the day. This gives us strength to handle the day and comfort for any problems we have as a couple.

On weekends, we do even more. We choose a relationship book and‍ read it out loud together. Right‌ now, we’re reading “Mr and Mrs Happy ⁢Couples Handbook”⁢ by Steve Doocy. We do this every saturday morning.‍ You could ⁣try this⁣ too as part of your⁣ morning routine with your partner.

3. Reach Out To Your Maker

Here’s another morning routine I suggest for couples. There’s a ⁢common saying: “Couples who pray together, stay together.” Yvonne said that she and her partner give thanks for the night and are grateful for their family.

My husband likes when I‍ pray.he says he likes ⁢hearing me pray for our‍ family. He says I’m good at remembering details when I pray about problems.

Next, he prays for our family, asking for God’s help. He talks about the problems we are dealing with right now and asks for solutions.

Many of‌ the good times and blessings we’ve had as a couple started with our prayer time together. I’m happy ⁤to say this ⁤routine, our special place for prayer, ⁣helped create them.

You should try it too. When you share a spiritual connection with your partner, it can help you ⁤connect in ⁤other parts ‍of ⁢your ⁢life.

4. assist Each Other With Some Simple House Chores

romantic ‍things couples do together

I long for when my‍ marriage was new. I would stay in bed‍ all morning after going⁤ to ⁢Jerusalem at ⁤night with⁣ my⁢ husband. He would wake up and bring me warm milk or coffee. Then, he would carry me to the bathroom so we could shower together. I really miss those times.

Now, things are very different. I almost run to the kitchen ⁣to quickly make breakfast and lunch for my family. while‍ I cook, my husband wakes up and gets the kids ‍ready for school.

It might seem boring, ⁤but we plan our day so hard ‌tasks are done the night before. We choose our work clothes for the ‍next day and iron them. ‍I ⁢pack my ‌bag and check my husband’s briefcase to make sure he’s ready for work too.

We also choose and set out what we need to⁣ get the kids ready for the next day. I even plan out their meals ahead of time.

Right after we finish praying, we go do our chores. We usually finish‌ them in under an hour. Sometimes, things change, and we have to get up earlier. But ‍we’re happy we can help each other. We don’t want to see anyone get too stressed.

Sometimes, while we work, our kids cry because they want to go back to sleep. Then, my husband and I joke around. We tease each other about which‍ of us our kids are‍ like ⁣when ‌they want to‍ sleep more.

We might not have money for everything, and our list of things to⁢ do is long. But we are‌ happy as it gives us time to be together and help each other. Is this something ⁣you do in the morning with your partner? You can try it as you plan‍ your‌ day to help each other ‌and feel closer.

Some couples ⁣eat‍ meals together or pack food for each other.Try to share a⁢ meal, even if ‍it’s just cereal in the morning. If you can, add healthy things to your cereal,⁣ like almonds or strawberries.

5. ⁣Work Out Together

When you⁣ do ⁣things together, you can feel closer and make ⁢your relationship⁤ stronger.

You go beyond just being friends and become playmates. You can work on your health‍ together in ‌the morning. You could walk, jog, or even do yoga.

Don’t try to get healthy by yourself. Ask your spouse to join you! I don’t work out ‌every day. But I try to do squats ‍and skip rope on weekends.

My husband helps me stay motivated. He counts⁣ my‍ reps and rubs my sore leg muscles sometimes. this is more than just exercise.⁢ It’s about caring for⁤ your⁤ partner’s health and helping them reach their goals.

6.‌ Take A‍ Shower Together

What should you do after finishing your tasks? Here’s a fun way to spend time with your partner and feel closer. My husband and I have done this every morning as we got married. Even⁢ with kids, we still make time for it.

This is a spot where couples⁢ can share close moments that help them connect. I suggest couples make time for this. It⁢ might be hard to fit into your busy day, ⁢especially when you have other things to do.

Why should you spend time with your partner? It helps

7. Praise Each Other Nicely

You and your partner are dressed and ready to go out. ⁤Wouldn’t it be nice to hear them tell you how great you look?

Tell your friend what you think of their scent. Praise their ⁢outfit colors, how they look, and their ⁤smile. Also, tell them⁤ about the good feeling ‍you ‌get⁤ when you are with them.

Share something sweet that will make them smile all day long. Let them know they are very important to you, even though you are apart. Tell them you can’t wait ‌to see them again after work.

Side chicks do small things to get our men’s attention. They might start saying nice things, which can make men feel ‌good. It works for women too. A little bit ⁣of love can make a woman fall head over heels.

Don’t let⁤ someone else take over your role in your marriage. ‌Really connect with your spouse.Be creative and do⁣ unexpected things.

8. share A Kiss And A Hug

What is the most ⁣ romantic parting gift you’ve given⁢ your partner when they leave for‍ work? It can be a ⁢special way to start your day as a couple. My boyfriend and I always⁣ share a long kiss before saying goodbye each morning.

Sometimes I’m ⁤a⁤ little sneaky. I might slide a “I love you note” into his pocket.Or, I’ll put a smiley sticker on his wrist. I also⁢ like to whisper, “I ⁢can’t‍ wait to have you back hun” in his ear.

Final⁢ Thoughts: things To do With Your ⁢Spouse To Reconnect

Do all those ⁤ideas⁢ for dates, romantic gestures, and fun activities at home with your partner feel like work? I hope not! But if they do, try taking things slowly. Remember, big things take time.

Begin with the⁣ little things you and⁣ your partner like to do together. Think about romantic dates, private⁢ moments, fun activities, and things you can enjoy at home.

If you start your⁣ day like this, you’ll both⁣ want to see each other again when the day ends.

To have a great relationship, you need to work on it every day. Don’t think it will just stay good on it’s own. Also, don’t let only‍ your partner ⁣take care of⁤ it.
